How is training going?

Training for a marathon as a stay-at-home mom is NO JOKE! I am using the app Runna to build my training program and it is not very happy with me because I run when and where and how far my schedule allows for because my family always comes first!

So far:

Weeks completed: 14/22

Miles completed: 183.9/365.8

Upcoming Runs

My next few long runs will be:

3/9: Deload week 7 miles

3/16: 17 miles

3/23: 19 miles

3/29: LONGEST TRAINING RUN 20 MILES!

Training Overview

I've been doing my long runs early in the week, an "easy run" in the middle of the week, and a speed/pacing run towards the end of the week.

Difficulties:

My biggest problem is PACING! My legs keep thinking "run faster, done faster", but as the saying goes "it's a marathon, not a sprint!". (LITERALLY!)

I can't wait to see everyone at the fundraising event and also along the route of the Marathon!
